Growth is from God - The expanded Dawn Star Kindergarten in Celldömölk has been handed over.

Celldömölk - The Dawn Star Lutheran Kindergarten in Celldömölk has been expanded with a new group room and gym. The building, which has also been renovated from the outside, was handed over on October 22, 2020, as part of a service held at the neighboring Reformed Church. At the festive event, János Szemerei, the bishop of the Western (Transdanubian) Diocese, preached the word of God. The liturgy was performed by Dénes Rác, pastor of the celldömölk congregation.

The greatest miracle of the creative God is growth, which is also a sign of life, the bishop emphasized in his sermon on 1 Corinthians 3: 3-7. Sometimes we can also discover God’s providence in the growth of buildings, ”he added.

János Szemerei then asked for God's blessing on the institution and its employees. Then came a short poem-music show by preschoolers and kindergarten teachers.

Mária Gergyéné Bognár, the head of the kindergarten, described the renovation process started in 2016, the first phase of which was completed this year. As part of this, a new group room and gymnasium were built from tender funds, but the playground, side kitchen and electrical network were also renewed. The attic space housed a warehouse, archive and nursery room, and the exterior insulation and plaster of the building were also tidied up. As part of the development, the Montessori pedagogical program was launched at the institution in 2019, for which the tender also provided the financial support needed for further training and the acquisition of equipment. Since 2019, one of the groups of the kindergarten has been temporarily received by the Reformed Congregational House, so it thanked Pastor Tamás Németh.

Mayor László Fehér and Member of Parliament Péter Ágh expressed their wishes for the expansion of the Lutheran kindergarten, which was launched in 1992.

After the service, those present marched to the nursery building, where they could view the new rooms from the inside after handing over the keys.
