The risk of poverty and social exclusion in Hungary has further decreased

For the third year in a row, we are below the EU average in this respect, the trend is still declining, but this has not always been the case!

The risk of poverty and social exclusion in Hungary has further decreased

The risk of poverty and exclusion in Hungary has further decreased, according to a recent analysis by Eurostat.

18.9 percent of the total population is at risk of poverty and social exclusion, 11 percent less than 10 years ago and 0.7 percent less than 1 year ago. In a comment, we place a graph from Eurostat where we show how this ratio has evolved over the last 10 years. We have been below the EU average for 3 years, before that we were above the EU average, much!

More and more people have unencumbered homes, stable jobs, adequate incomes and savings, all of which play a role in improving performance.
