The government has pushed through the efforts of Gergely Karácsony, and would have terminated the dialogue between the government and the capital on the Liget project on the proposal of the mayor. The government maintains its unilateral commitment not to start construction of the three new institutions challenged by the capital's leadership: the New National Gallery, the Hungarian Innovation House and the City Park Theater until an agreement is reached with the capital on this issue. At the same time, the government still considers the implementation of these institutions to be an outstanding development that serves the interests of Budapest and the nation, therefore it patiently looks forward to and encourages the conclusion of an agreement based on professional arguments and facts.
2. "The new management of the capital does not support the super hospital"
At the meeting of the Budapest General Assembly on NOVEMBER 27, 2019, it became clear that the majority there does not support the investment of the Central Hospital in South Buda in its current form, nor does it intend to contribute to the financing of health improvements.
